There is a hushed intensity in the room today, and the three team members exhibit a raptorlike focus. The suggestions made during the evaluation session last night have been revealing themselves all day. Rather than keeping a quasi-distance and allowing the team to do their thing relatively umimpeded, Ciril and I have been much more directly engaged today. Progress is evident. The first six hours have flown by. There’s no time to write; in an hour and a half the day’s work must and will have coalesced into three distinct finished oeuvres. Baguettes are about to be loaded.
