The holidays are a time to do things that celebrate and create traditions. We all have cherished memories of creating something beautiful to mark this special time of year. We think decorating a gingerbread house is a perfect way to craft new memories, and we’re hoping you’ll join us in celebrating the sweet traditions and beauty of the holiday season by entering our gingerbread house decorating contest.
The King Arthur Flour Gingerbread House Decorating Contest is open to US and Canadian citizens. Participants are asked to take a digital photo of their original gingerbread house, and email it to gingerbread [at]kingarthurflour.com. Multiple entries are permitted (and encouraged!)
All gingerbread houses must be made of 100% edible materials. The use of any craft or construction material will result in disqualification. By submitting your photo to the contest you authorize King Arthur Flour to use your photo in any promotional and/or marketing materials.
There will be five winners (see categories below), plus three special “judges’ pick” winners.
EACH Winner will receive:
- $50 gift card
- King Arthur Flour Cookie Companion cookbook
- Personalized cookie from the King Arthur Flour Bakery
All participants will automatically be entered in our weekly drawing for a chance to win one of five $10 gift cards.
We have the tools, tips, ingredients, recipes, and blogs to help you get started with your gingerbread creation. Get inspired now
