Shipping rates and options
Our goal is to offer you competitive shipping rates and as many options as we reasonably can (depending on destination). That way, you can balance cost versus delivery time, and make a shipping choice that’s right for YOU.
Our goal is to process and ship all in-stock items the same day. Orders placed online will generate a shipping confirmation e-mail to you at the time your package is shipped. Packages leave our warehouse Monday through Friday. Please see information below for more shipping information including standard shipping, faster shipping, and shipping beyond the 48 states.

Shipping schedule and guidelines:
Orders placed Monday-Friday by 12pm EST will ship the same day. Orders placed Monday-Friday after 12pm EST will ship the following day. Orders placed Friday after 12pm EST through Sunday will ship on Monday.
Merchandise offered with “free shipping” is shipped Standard, unless you choose a different, faster method. If so, you’ll pay ONLY the upcharge between Standard and the faster method.
Please note that all officially recognized United States national holidays are not considered business days, and will therefore increase delivery times.
*Add $9.50 for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, APO, and FPO addresses. We ship to these destinations ONLY by USPS Priority Mail.

Specialty shipping charges
Shipment of King Arthur Bakery products
To ensure ultimate freshness, we ship baked goods on Wednesday of each week (separate from the rest of your merchandise), using 2-day delivery. To cover this expedited shipping, $10 will be added to the Standard shipping charge for your order. Note: These items are available only within the 48 contiguous United States, and cannot be delivered to a Post Office box.
Shipment of chocolate
During the warmer months, to prevent your chocolate from melting we can wrap it with a cool pack, and send it to you by express shipping, separate from the rest of your order. To cover the necessary shipping upgrade, you'll see an additional $10 charge on your order at checkout. SAVE MONEY by purchasing as much chocolate as possible in one order. The $10 surcharge will cover ALL the chocolate in your order (shipped to the same address). Items shipped this way cannot be delivered to Post Office boxes, APO addresses, or outside the continental United States.
