Shipping rates and options
Our goal is to offer you competitive shipping rates and as many options as we reasonably can (depending on destination). That way, you can balance cost versus delivery time, and make a shipping choice that’s right for YOU.
Our goal is to process and ship all in-stock items the same day. Orders placed online will generate a shipping confirmation e-mail to you at the time your package is shipped. Packages leave our warehouse Monday through Friday. Please see information below for more shipping information including standard shipping, faster shipping, shipping beyond the 48 states, and Canadian orders.

Shipping schedule and guidelines
Orders placed Monday-Friday by 12pm Eastern time will ship the same day. Orders placed Monday-Friday after 12pm Eastern time will ship the following day. Orders placed Friday after 12pm Eastern time through Sunday will ship on Monday.
Merchandise offered with “free shipping” is shipped Standard, unless you choose a different, faster method. If so, you’ll pay ONLY the upcharge between Standard and the faster method.
Please note that all officially recognized United States national holidays are not considered business days, and will therefore increase delivery times.
*Add $9.50 for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, APO, and FPO addresses. We ship to these destinations ONLY by USPS Priority Mail.
Standard shipping
Delivery time (in transit): 4 to 7 business days. Saturday delivery is not available. We must have a street address for delivery in the continental United States.
Standard packages to the continental United States leave our facility via UPS Ground. In order to help keep our overall delivery surcharges down, lighter weight and promotional orders may utilize a UPS program called SurePost (formally called Basic). These packages may be transferred by UPS at their discretion to your local post office for final delivery to you.
Faster shipping
For 2-day and overnight service, orders must be received by midnight Eastern time to be processed the next business day.

Canadian orders
We appreciate doing business with our Canadian neighbors. Currently, not all of our 1200+ items are available for shipment to Canada. Each item requires an item tariff classification - which can be quite detailed. In the coming months, you'll see more and more items available for you to purchase and ship to your home address.
If you see an item you'd like to purchase and it's not flagged "ships to Canada," it's because that item isn't yet set up; or it's on back order.
For an order delivered to your Canadian address, you'll be charged our regular ground shipping rate, plus an $18.00 flat fee to cover the higher Canadian shipping costs, customs brokerage fees, and Canadian duty (where applicable). Orders to the Northwest Territories, and to the Nunavut and Yukon territories, can only ship expedited; they require an additional $30.00 upcharge. Since this is a flat fee, we suggest you maximize your (American) dollars by placing fewer but larger orders; getting together with baking friends to place a group order is a good option.
In accordance with Canadian government and province tax laws, all non-food items are taxable. (That means all of our baking mixes and ingredients are tax-exempt!) Tax will be charged to your order based on current GST, PST, or HST rates.
We ship orders to Canada every weekday. Orders for in-stock merchandise placed by noon, Monday through Friday, will ship that day. Delivery should take 3 to 7 business days.
At this time, King Arthur Flour merchandise is not available for resale or commercial use in Canada.
In order to ensure the proper Customs authorizations is in place, our shipper asks that the following statement be included on our website:
By ordering goods from The Baker's Catalogue, you authorize our Customs Broker to act as your agent to transact business with Canadian Border service Agency (CBSA) to clear merchandise, pay duties and taxes, and to handle any merchandise returns and refund claims on your behalf. You further waive and transfer your right to receive the actual amount of refund of duties and taxes to our Customs Broker. All duty and tax paid will, in turn, be refunded to you directly by The Baker's Catalogue. All import documentation pertaining to the entry will be retained by The Baker's Catalogue and can be made available upon request.

Specialty shipping charges
Shipment of chocolate
During the warmer months, to prevent your chocolate from melting we can wrap it with a cool pack separate from the rest of your order. To cover the necessary shipping upgrade, you'll see an additional $6 charge on your order at checkout. SAVE MONEY by purchasing as much chocolate as possible in one order. The $6 surcharge will cover ALL the chocolate in your order (shipped to the same address). Items shipped this way cannot be delivered to Post Office boxes, APO addresses, or outside the continental United States.
