- Medical Plans
- Employee-owners may choose between an HMO and an HSA plan through CIGNA Healthcare. Both plans offer special health and wellness programs such as preventive care services, Well Aware for Better Health℠, Healthy Babies®, and premium discounts via Wellness Incentives. The HSA is partially funded by King Arthur.
- Prescription Drug Coverage
- Both CIGNA plans offer a three-tier retail drug plan as well as a mail order drug program.

- Domestic partners are covered under the employee-owner’s plan.
- Dental Plan
- Employee-funded plan through Delta Dental offering a range of services.
- Vision Care
- Company-paid benefit to employee-owners offering an affordable eyecare plan.

- King Arthur Flour offers Long- and Short-Term Disability insurance to cover 60% of your pay if you should become ill or disabled.
- Life Insurance and AD&D (Accidental Death and Dismemberment)
- Coverage is equal to your annual salary up to a maximum of $100,000. This is 100% funded by King Arthur Flour. Additional life insurance, including spousal and dependent coverage, may be purchased at additional cost.
- Flexible Spending Accounts
- Pre-tax savings program available to all employee-owners offering medical and dependent care reimbursement.
- ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)
- King Arthur Flour is 100% employee-owned. Shares of stock are allocated to employees once a year. The ESOP is a “Qualified Retirement Plan.”
- 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
- In addition to our ESOP, King Arthur Flour provides a 401(k) plan with a company-matching provision for pre-tax retirement savings.
- Earned Time Off
- Regular full-time employee-owners accrue earned time at the rate of 18 days in their first year of employment. Part-time employees working at least 20 hours/week will accrue earned time on a proportionate basis. The accrual schedule is as follows:
- 1-3 Years…..accrue 18 days
- 4-7 Years…..accrue 23 days
- 8+Year…..accrue 28 days
- Holiday Pay (7 total)
- 6 holidays throughout the year, plus a “floating holiday”.

- Confidential counseling and referral service for employees and their families.
- Tuition Reimbursement
- Educational assistance provided towards tuition to an accredited institution.
