Café Assistant

Reports to Café Chef

Responsible for the preparation of all prepared food items on a daily basis and the overall presentation and quality of items being served.

Essential job function

  • Daily preparation and clean up of all prepared foods in a timely efficient manner.
  • Adherence to state regulations for food safety at all times.
  • Preparations, set up, and clean up of catering orders as needed.
  • Maintain all prepared foods procedures and processes.
  • Maintaining best practice standards for both presentation and quality of product being served.
  • Provide retail customer support as needed

Education/experience

  • Basic Excel skills
  • Food Safety training
  • Strong cooking skills

Minimum job requirements

  • Weekends as needed

Physical requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
