Coconut macaroon brownies

Using our Fudge Brownie Mix and Coconut Macaroon Cookie Mix

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8"x 8" or 9"x 9" baking pan.
  2. Make the brownies as directed on the package. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Make the macaroon cookies as directed on the package.
  4. Increase the oven heat to 375°F. Drop spoonfuls of cookie mix on top of the partially baked brownies, then spread it evenly to cover the top.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the coconut is browned around the edges.
  6. Cool for several hours or overnight for best texture and easiest cutting. Yield: Sixteen 2"x 2" brownies.
