Coconut macaroon brownies
Using our Fudge Brownie Mix and Coconut Macaroon Cookie Mix
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8"x 8" or 9"x 9" baking pan.
- Make the brownies as directed on the package. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 15 minutes.
- Make the macaroon cookies as directed on the package.
- Increase the oven heat to 375°F. Drop spoonfuls of cookie mix on top of the partially baked brownies, then spread it evenly to cover the top.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the coconut is browned around the edges.
- Cool for several hours or overnight for best texture and easiest cutting. Yield: Sixteen 2"x 2" brownies.
