Welcome!
We invite you to join us at our King Arthur Flour campus in Norwich, Vermont, home of our school, bakery, and retail store.
Our Baker’s Store is packed with everything you need for your very best baking, from hard-to-find ingredients, innovative gadgets, and top-quality pans, to easy mixes and a huge selection of baking basics. Grab a cup of coffee and pastry from our café as you browse the aisles; relax and check your email with our free WiFi; then enjoy a sandwich at our picnic tables overlooking the pond.
Kitchen demo
Our store kitchen is always busy. Watch Bonny as she demonstrates special test kitchen tips, then enjoy free samples of tasty scones, cookies, bread, cake, pastries, and more.
Fresh from our bakery
Our artisan bakers pull baguettes and sourdough loaves out of our King Arthur Bakery ovens well before the sun rises, and put the finishing touches on Danish, cinnamon rolls, and sticky buns so they’re ready for breakfast. Later in the morning, we offer elegant European-style pastries, including fruit tarts, napoleons, and chocolate croissants, along with all-American favorites like whoopie pies and chocolate chip cookies. The King Arthur Bakery: we’re open and baking every day.

Choose from a tempting selection of topics at The Baking Education Center at King Arthur Flour. From simple 2-hour demonstrations to full-week classes, we offer great instruction for everyone, from kids to professionals.

Driving directions
From Boston
- Take I-93 North through New Hampshire until it meets I-89 (just outside of Concord, New Hampshire).
- Follow I-89 North until it meets I-91 in White River Junction, Vermont.
- Take I-91 North to exit 13. Go straight down the off-ramp.
- At the traffic light, take a left and go under the highway.
- At the next light, take another left onto Route 5 South.
- On Route 5 South, look for our gray building with red trim on the left hand side, just past the car dealership and less than 1/2 mile from the traffic lights.
From New York City
- Take I-95 North to New Haven, Connecticut. In New Haven, take I-91 North.
- Continue on I-91 until exit 13 in Vermont. Go straight down the off-ramp.
- At the traffic light, take a left and go under the highway.
- At the next light, take another left onto Route 5 South.
