  • Note: This candy is gluten-free if you choose ingredients that have been manufactured/packed in a gluten-free facility.

Directions

1) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or waxed paper.

2) Melt the dark chocolate — in a microwave, or in a saucepan set over very low heat — and mix it with about 1/2 cup of the ginger.

3) Spread the melted chocolate into an 8" x 12" oval on the prepared baking sheet.

4) Sprinkle the rest of the ginger on top, pressing it in gently.

5) Allow the chocolate to cool until hardened, then break into chunks.

Yield: about 2 dozen pieces.
