Ingredients

Directions

1) Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease (or line with parchment) two baking sheets.

2) Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

3) In a separate bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until they're light and creamy.

4) Add the eggs and vanilla, beating until combined.

5) Stir in the dry ingredients until just incorporated, then fold in the chocolate chunks and pumpkin seeds.

6) Scoop the dough a tablespoon at a time onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 1 1/2" between the dough balls.

7) Bake the cookies for 12 to 14 minutes, until their edges have dried; the centers will still seem soft.

8) Remove the cookies from the oven, and transfer them to a rack to cool.

Yield: 36 to 40 cookies.

  • I had the same result as the previous feedback, those came out not like cookies, more like little cakes, didn't spread at all. I gave it 3 stars, just because it wasn't awful taste, and I didn't use praline, maybe this recipe needs a little more liquid, like couple table spoons of milk, or less flour... Anyway, so far it is the worst recipe from this website.

  • I only have 1 issue, they did not look like the picture, meaning they stayed kind of puffy and did not flatten out with that crackle look. Not sure what I did wrong. The taste however is great, but thought this would be more of a chewy king of cookie.
When a cookie puffs up and becomes cake-like, it may be a result of the mixing. If you over-mixed or mixed to fast, you may have incorporated too much air into the dough. using shortening can also be a cause for this result and a cake-like texture. ~Amy

  • These are fantastic! I did not add the white chocolate, seemed like it would have been to sweet, so I just added a little more praline. Oh and I made my own praline yum that's all I have to say. Thank KAF!

  • These cookies sound amazing, but what is the praline pumpkin seed crunch? Is it an item you carry or a recipe? I would love to make these for some friends who can no longer eat nuts, but miss this type of crunch filled cookie, but am unsure at to what I need. Thanks!
I'm sorry, we no longer carry the Praline Pumpkin Crunch. Frank @ KAF.
