If, as sometimes happens, a product malfunctions, please check the manufacturer's warranty, and contact the manufacturer directly. This saves you the time and effort of going through us first. How we select our products
When selecting products, we don't just read about them in a vendor's catalog. We bake with them. We take things home. We put samples of scone mixes in our company lunchroom. We run spatulas through the dishwasher, soak bread pans in the sink, don't follow the directions that come with the timer, drop measuring cups on the floor… in short, all of the things you're likely to do in your kitchen at home. If the product passes our tests, and if it's available at a fair price, then we consider selling it on this site. What we avoid at all costs is cheap stuff. Inexpensive, OK; but cheap, no. Pans that bend, finishes that flake, and handles that break will never make it onto bakerscatalobgue.com, no matter what kind of good deal we're offered on them.

The King Arthur Flour Company has been providing America's bakers with the finest-quality flours and baking ingredients since 1790. Our formula for success? Find the best merchandise, price it fairly, advertise it in a straightforward manner, and treat our customers as we'd like to be treated ourselves. Online & catalogue shipping overview

Our goal is to offer you competitive shipping rates and as many options as we reasonably can (depending on destination). That way, you can balance cost versus delivery time, and make a shipping choice that’s right for YOU. Our goal is to process and ship all in-stock items within 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed online will generate a shipping confirmation e-mail to you at the time your package is shipped. Packages leave our warehouse Monday through Friday; please see shipping information below.

Merchandise offered with “free shipping” is shipped Standard, unless you choose a different, faster method. If so, you’ll pay ONLY the upcharge between Standard and the faster method.

Standard shipping:

Delivery time (in transit): 5 to 10 business days

We ship Fedex. When choosing standard your package will ship to your local post office, or Fedex will deliver it themselves. The majority of standard packages will ship Fedex Smartpost and be delivered by your post office**

**We utilize a FedEx small-package service called SmartPost. SmartPost picks up packages from our warehouse in Vermont and transports these packages through FedEx-owned and operated consolidation facilities. Your package(s) will enter the postal system as close to their final destination as possible–usually right to your local post office. The post office will then deliver your package(s) to you. This FedEx SmartPost/USPS partnership enables us to keep our rates lower than we otherwise could, while still providing package tracking and reasonable delivery times.



FASTER shipping:

For FedEx 2-day and overnight service, orders must be received by midnight Eastern time to be processed the next business day; Saturday delivery is not available.

Specialty shipping charges

Shipment of King Arthur Bakery products

To ensure ultimate freshness, we ship baked goods on Monday and Wednesday of each week (separate from the rest of your merchandise), using 2-day delivery; baked goods will arrive within 5 to 7 days of placing your order. To cover this expedited shipping, $10 will be added to the Standard shipping charge for your order. Note: These items are available only within the 48 contiguous United States, and cannot be delivered to a Post Office box.

Shipment of chocolate

During the warmer months, to prevent your chocolate from melting we’ll wrap it with a cool pack, and send it to you by express shipping, separate from the rest of your order. To cover the necessary shipping upgrade, you'll see an additional $10 charge on your order at checkout. SAVE MONEY by purchasing as much chocolate as possible in one order, as well as any King Arthur bakery items. The $10 surcharge will cover ALL the chocolate and fresh-baked items in your order (shipped to the same address). Items shipped this way cannot be delivered to Post Office boxes, APO addresses, or outside the continental United States. Note: This shipping surcharge is in effect May 15 through September 15.
