The closing on this container is fabulous easy to use and keeps contents dry. The top is wide enough to easily measure out what you need.

It's very handsome and it's a shame it has to be refrigerated. One thing I did notice was that it seems a bit top heavy and that if you open all the way it tends to tip over backwards. That was empty. If full it wiouldn't because it would be balanced but as you used your supply it would gradually have that tendency. Solution: Don't open all the way and let go.

I got this because I have been yeast baking quite a bit and the little jars of yeast get very expensive. I wanted to keep my package of KA yeast air tight in the freezer and this holds one entire package. A much more economical way to have the yeast.

I do a lot of baking and buy yeast in bulk to save money. This canister is great. The wide mouth makes it easy to use.

This canister is great. I was not sure about it and thought who needs this to just hold yeast? Well, EVERYONE. It's very sturdy, seems very airtight and stores well in freezer, fridge, or in the pantry. PERFECT size for one package of SAF YEAST. I am glad I got this item and may buy another!

What I love most about this is it fits the entire package of yeast in it. I got this for the gold yeast so I can keep both separate, yet fresh. I keep it in the freezer along with the other canister I got with the red yeast some years ago which doesn't hold as much but is stainless and excellent quality. This is an excellent heavy weight acrylic and put together well. Not cheap like some other canisters I've tried.
