I now use this cake mix exclusively when a recipe calls for a vanilla cake. I like it because it is 18.5 oz.,which most recipes using boxed cake call for. Most national brand cake mixes today are only about 14 oz., which can throw off the proportions of a recipe.

I made cupcakes with this mix and thought they were delicious without frosting. Great vanilla flavor and not too sweet. Wonderful texture - not too dense or too soft. I like this mix better than typical store bought cake mixes. Three friends went crazy over them as well :)

This is an excellent cake mix. The best I have had. It compares very well with cakes I have made from scratch. If I don't want to bake from scratch, I would definitely use this mix.

I followed the instructions exactly and even used the cake enhancer but I still found this cake to be a little dry and bland. But, it worked out well and held up in my two tiered cake. I am sorry this did not work out for you. Please give customer care a call and we would be happy to refund or exchange for another mix.

This is the only boxed mix that I use...homemade right out of the box. THE BEST

I thought that this was a very dry cake. I used it with the oil and butter added. I was very disapoointed.

I really really prefer to make my own cakes from scratch but this is a great fallback when you have a sudden, urgent need for cake and not enough time. Moist and delicious and tastes home made. I have been known to mix in some double dutch cocoa in part of the batter to create a marble cake because, why not?

Made a Strawberry Cake with this . Turned out wonderful. 1 box cake mix, 1/3 oil, 1 cup frozen strawberries (thawed), small package strawberry jello, 4 eggs, 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Icing was 1 stick butter, 1/2 cup strawberry, and powder sugar. I have not had this in 5 years, because of the GF and not finding a suitable mix. I LOVE my spring time cake!!!
