The recipe for hazelnut cake filling on the inside of the label is a MUST. I made the filling for a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting (a cake for 40 people), and it was truly divine. the product does need to be mixed together well before addition into other ingedients, a small price to pay for a fine quality, product in the US without equal.

This is an excellent product, in taste and texture all but identical to the hazelnut praline pastes available in Europe. I've used it in madeleines, truffles, and pastry cream--it's delicious every time!

This is a terrific paste for the King Arthur Flour cheesecake recipe (Hazelnut White Chocolate Cheesecake) located in the KA Bakers Companion cookbook. The paste is softer than the almond paste but this is due to the nature of the praline ingredients. There is nothing wrong with the paste. Everyone loves the praline cheesecake recipe!

This product does need to be mixed up in a food processor before it is used but boy is it delicious! I used it for a chocolate hazelnut cake and people were fighting over the leftover pieces.

Product had separated in the can, and it was very difficult to stir it together again. I wonder if the taste was affected by this. It needs to stay homogenized. It wasn't a paste, more like a hazlenut butter.
