- Milled blend of 30% each amaranth, millet, and sorghum flours, plus 10% quinoa flour, is 100% whole grain, with all the bran and germ.
- Add protein and amino acids, along with fiber, vitamins, and minerals, to bread, muffins, cookies, and more.
- Substitute for up to 1/5 of the flour in your recipe. Here’s how: sprinkle 3 tablespoons blend into your 1-cup measure, then fill the cup with regular flour.
- For best freshness, wrap in plastic and store in the freezer.

Have used it in combination w/ KA white whole wheat in my Zo & the bread texture is beautiful. Everyone, including two toddlers, love the bread.

I ordered this flour as a bit of an impulse. I figured I'd take a chance and throw some in the weekly Pain de Mie. Now I am not allowed to make the Pain de Mie without it. It adds a light nutty/malty flavor that was subtle but satisfying.

New to GF baking, I wanted the whole grains that I used to incorporate into all of my 'regular' baked goods. I have used this flour as part of the flour called for and today used it as the only flour in a banana bread GF recipe. I knew it would have a stronger flavor and slightly denser texture which it did. Overall, very pleased with this flour blend.

Delicious! It is very finely ground, so the resultant texture of the bread I used it in was fabulous. It does have a bitter note to it (which I expected); it is not unpleasant to me, but some my find it not what they expected.

The Ancient Grains Flour Blend makes a fabulous loaf of bread. This has become a favorite with my family. I bake a loaf every week.

Love the ancient grains flour. I now always include ancient grains and grape seed flours to all my recipes for the additional nutrition, flavor and fiber. A new must have staple for my pantry.

This is great stuff. So easy to add to any bread recipe, and it makes the product so much healthier, and in my opinion, tastier! Also adds texture. A bit pricey but well worth it. I'd like to add---I'm a fairly new customer. I really appreciate how KAF reads these posts and actually responds to them, when appropriate. That's both caring and good business.

I made the biscuits and like them a lot but they don't look like your photo--much rougher looking. And what size are the golf balls in VT. I made 24 biscuits but they were bigger than golf balls and used 2 cookie sheets. I will try these again and add sunflower seeds.

Adds great taste and texture to yeast breads, quick breads and other baked goods. It?s especially good in pizza dough. I have been able to use up to 25% in recipes with no problem.
