An essential bakery tool

Professional bakers use parchment for a reason: it just makes life in the kitchen SO much easier!

  • Silicone-coated reusable vegetable parchment instantly makes any baking pan non-stick.
  • Cleanup is a breeze; no need to soap and scour pans after use when they're lined with parchment.
  • Each sheet measures 16 1/2" x 12 1/4", just the right size for most cookie sheets.
  • Use in place of waxed paper for rolling pie crust and protecting fragile packed baked goods, too.
  • Also, just what you need for cooking "en papillote," in a steamer or microwave.
  • Recommended maximum temperature for single use: 500°F. For multiple uses: 450°F.
  • BEST BUY! Heavy duty, approx. 100-count; approx. 140-sq. ft.
BOTTOM LINE: Baking without parchment is like whipping cream by hand; yeah, you can do it, but… why? Parchment means cookies and sticky breads will slip right off the sheet when they’re done. And your pans will stay perfectly clean. Here in the test kitchen, we reuse each sheet till it falls apart, which is many uses, so this amount of parchment will last you for a VERY long time. Use these sheets frequently. Nothing sticks. Helps protect and preserve your baking sheets from baked on residue. Useful for crafting, too.

I use this paper almost everyday. I recently purchased an induction burner cooktop. I place the paper on the cooktop and set my pan on top. I saw instructions online for this. I use cast iron pans. The paper allow the pan to move around easily and catches spill and prevents scratching the cooktop. Cleanup is a breeze. I use it several times before replacing unless it is a really messy cooking job, The induction burner heats up the cast iron so quickly. I have a burner with temp presets and love it. I cook eggs for breakfast all the time now. The parchment paper makes the cooking worry-free and no mess. Fantastic!

This is the best source for parchment I know. Besides being cheaper, as others have mentioned, this is the most convenient. When I bake a large batch of cookies, I use two cookie sheets & three sheets of parchment. One of my favorite uses is to mix up some of KA scone mix, dump it into the middle of a sheet of parchment; use the parchment to form into a ball; then flatten into a disk (or square*); separate into individual servings with a pastry scraper; and separate & bake on the same sheet. The * is because if I want to make small scones, I form into a 9" square, cut into three rows of 3" squares, then divide them in half. And when I bake large batches of cookies, I use 2 cookie sheets & 3 parchment sheets. I get a whole assembly line going: take finished cookies out of oven from top rack; move other sheet of cookies up to top rack (close oven); take finished cookies & slide parchment & cookies onto cooling rack; go over to prep area & slide cookie dough & parchment onto cookie sheet & place on lower rack in the oven; remove cooling cookies from parchment to cooling rack; and (finally) prep next sheet of cookie dough.

O.K., you can buy the cheaper stuff in rolls, but I for one am terrible at tearing neat sheets of the right size out of those dispenser boxes. This is a luxury that a weary baker is grateful for. When we ran out of the rolled stuff, we had no trouble persuading ourselves to re-order the pre-cut sheets.

I had looked for these since I had seen many on the cooking shows using them. Love them and find that I can reuse them several times.

I highly recommend this parchment paper. I can't bake anything without it. What's even better is that I can keep re-using it when I'm baking cookies. I make sure I always have this in my kitchen.

These half sheet parchment papers are great. They fit my pans perfectly. So much better than roll parchment paper. Easy clean up. Definitely will purchase again.
