This cake turns out as perfectly as the picture. I want to say a special thank you to Carol Bagley from King Arthur. She typed the entire recipe for the cake by hand and sent it to me when I called to say I had lost mine! What wonderful service.

Great pan for light colored cakes. I tried to bake a spice cake in it and it burned on the outside and was raw in the middle. So avoid the dark cakes and have amazingly beautiful results with any light cake mix.
We are sorry this pan didn't give you the results you expected. We wonder if the position of the rack in the oven was to blame? Baking in the middle or above may be the answer to this dilemma. Irene at KAF

LOVE this pan!!! The cake come out perfectly. I am a super busy mom with a full time job. After work one night I made this with a lemon cake mix, glazed it with a lemon honey glaze and put those precious sugar bumble-bees on it. When my little ones awoke the next morning, they were wide-eyed with excitement. BIG hit! Thank you!

i love this pan but i also have to add i've been baking for over 40 years and am pretty darn good at it,but the recipe included with the pan is by far the worst !!cake i have ever made, i can only hope the raccoons will eat it because no one at easter did.

This Bee Hive cake pan is very good. I used a Duncan Heins lemon cake mix & Lemon Pudding,made it as directed on the box.I used the Vanilla glace (with honey) & small amt. of milk.Poured it on top of cake, then place the small bees (pkg. from Catalog. It was very cute. Give it a try,

My favorite specialty pan. Comes out perfectly every time. So very detailed, and perfect for so many themes. This cake mix looks amazing. Great idea to use the honey flavored cake.
