I have the gold and silver sugars. I used them to decorate gingerbread stars, angels, and bells for Christmas. They were beautiful and shined brilliantly against the white royal icing on my cookies.

Agree that the colors ARE very subtle and I didn't find them as brilliant as the online pictures. I personally didn't care for them when I used them to decorate sugar cookies. I found the sugar crystals too large and the colors not bright enough. Maybe in another baked product or perhaps using a little of the product. I am sorry these didn't work out for you. I have this in silver, gold and blue. It is fabulous. Really sparkles and adds a touch of "professionalism" to EVERYTHING!

Loved everything about this sugar except the fact that it is not really a true blue color. Was washed out and more of a pastel blue or an ocean blue.

I made blue velvet cupcakes and sprinkled the frosting with the blue luster sugar. It made the cupcakes look very elegant.
