I'd used silicone rolling pins, but they all had handles, I was worried about getting used to this one. It was a breeze. I even splurged for the rings and am so happy with them. Even though it says dishwasher safe, I think I'll be hand washing this to be sure nothing happens to it, I love it and will never go back to a non-silicone again.

I loved this rolling pin until the silicon started to peel then rip down one whole side. I had to purchase another rolling pin w/o the silicon for fear it would split again. Too expensive to have to worry about the silicon splitting.

This pin worked great on my puff pastry and Danish dough. No sticking and easy clean up. However after using this for about 3 months the silicone began to peel off. Hoping the was just a one time flaw, I've ordered another. Otherwise it is a great product

LOVE IT!!! I didn't care if it was purple with red polka dots. It works hard so I don't have to. I have some discomfort in my hands and wrists so this weighted pin is perfect for me. I use it with the rings, which are also great.

Wow, I got this pin because I wanted one long enough to make the rings work. But I got so much more in the bargain! It's heavy enough to do some of the work for you, dough doesn't stick and cleanup is easy! I must have tried 6 different rolling pins in the last few years looking for the ultimate. I'll stop now. Lint sticks to it in the drawer, so it needs to be rinsed before use but that is easy too!

Light blue pastry pin versus dark blue?!?! No matter what shade you get (and seriously, DOES IT REALLY MATTER? Will the color or your pastry pin affect its performance?), this pastry pin works GREAT! Nice long length for those big jobs. Consider spending a few extra dollars to get the rings for a perfect thickness to your cookies, every time. I did, and absolutely no regrets.

Dough comes out perfect every time. Doesn't require much pressure, doesn't stick, and cleans very easily.

Yes it's a great tool - however, is it just me, or do you think that if you pay $35 for a rolling pin you should be able to choose the color not just HOPE it comes in dark vs. light blue. Enough of this nonsense.
