Great little product that works like a charm. To date, I have only used this on my brown sugar--and I soaked the bear the recommended 20 minutes twice about a week apart. I bought several to give to friends who bake.

These are a must if you are shipping cookies or cooking them in advance. They are also good for Cup Cakes or anything you have to cook in advance that you don't want to dry out. The only problem is that people don't return the Bear's so that I can send them again, I have to buy more all the time. I make a ton of a special kind of Health food cookie that everyone loves, but they don't realize that they are healthy but I won't share the recipe with them, I want them to have something special that no one else is giving them. Using the Bear just made the orders bigger and bigger. Now people want them year round. I think I will have to tell people to return the Bears if they want more cookies!! I love them!!

I have used this for nearly ten years! It works wonders. Sugar is always soft. Every few years years I have to soak the bear in water for a little while to "recharge" it. How amazing is that for low maintenance?!

Absolutely love it! I had another one that lasted many years until it just didn't work anymore. Fortunately, KAF sold them so I bought a few of them for my daughters and myself. It is so easy to use and you never have to worry about hard brown sugar!

We currently live in Mongolia where it's very dry year round. We had several bags of brown sugar that was as hard as granite. I let the bear soak in water for several hours then put all the sugar in a lock-n-lock container with the bear on top. When I checked it several days later, the sugar was soft. This little bear really works!

I need to buy more of these bears. Keep your brown sugar soft and easy to spoon, like when you just bought it. Softens rock solid one too! Now I need one for my cinnamon roll container, brownie pan...
