UP with crusty edges! DOWN with soggy centers!

Here's the solution to soggy brownies: an ingenious pan that makes ALL edges, no centers!

  • Non-stick cast-aluminum pan is great for brownies, as well as sticky buns, cinnamon rolls, bread pudding, cobbler, and cake.
  • Also perfect for lasagna, pot pies, and biscuit- or dumpling-topped stews.
  • 9" x 12" pan, capacity equivalent to 9" x 9" pan, but will fit most 9" x 13"-pan recipes.
  • To preserve the finish, hand-washing is recommended.
Featured in Cook's Illustrated: "Could (three internal walls) really eliminate the problem of undercooked middles and burned edges...? When we tested this pan in our kitchen, we were pleased to discover that the answer is yes."

Great pan, easy to clean! Gave it to my 22 year old son for Christmas...for his Hope Chest, ha ha! Figured he needs to have some good recipes and cooking equipment of his own! He is now our family's designated brownie baker...from scratch!

I am a beginner baker so I need every "edge" (pun intended) to get by. This pan worked with all mixes I have tried and brownies have been welcomed at many potlucks.

I love how the edges of the brownies come out so crispy

I love this brownie pan. Not only do you get those crunchy end pieces on a couple of side of each brownie, but the center is moist and chewey. This pan is definately a hit with me.

Being an edge guy, I bought this the moment I saw it and have been using it ever since. Every brownie cooks at exactly the same rate so you get perfect batches every time. And now that we're entering Chili and soup season, it's great for cornbread mixes, as well. I not only highly recommend this pan but have bought three others as gifts and they're as happy with it as I am. Enjoy!

Love this pan. The brownies bake evenly, and the pan is nonstick so they pop right out. Easy cleanup, too!

I always thought I was a center-brownie person, until I got one of these pans. This made me an edger, for sure! In a 9x13 pan, by the time the center cooks through, the edges are hard and crusty; more often than not, I end up cutting off the edges because they're inedible. With this pan, the edges are perfect - solid enough that I can hold onto the brownie, but not so tough that it's too chewy. Away from the edge, the brownie is nice and moist and wonderful - a tiny bit chewier than a 9x13 center brownie, but not so much that most would notice the difference. I'll never make brownies in any other pan! Now the fights aren't over who gets the edge and who gets the center; the fights are over who gets the two brownies with three edges!

Nice heavy pan, cleans easily with regular soapy sponge. It had to do more than just brownies, and will solve my gooey jam bar problem with rectangular pans. I may need a second one. (I also bought one for a friend, who's husband is an edge man). Now, if only it had a cover to keep contents moist after cooling...

I didn't realize the pan was cast iron--worried that sticking would be an issue. It's not! The family loves all the edges and the KAF brownie recipe comes out wonderful!

I do not have one of these pans. I showed it to my family but we all like the chewy centers, we are not edge people. My daughter asked, "Whats the fun in that?" I also did not see why there were negative reviews about Ben who did not give a negative review but a neutral because his family like mine prefers the middle over the edge. You were supposed to rate the pan not what someone else liked.
