These things are BETTER than Good. They are awesome!! I am going to order more. I used the pans that KAF sells. The donuts were crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the inside. Wonderful flavor with a hint of cinnamon. I sprayed the pans well with the spray KAF sells. We may be addicted to these things.

Easy to mix up and easy to bake. However, until reading other reviews, I thought maybe I was the only one that didn't care for the buttermilk mix. Something about the flavor that is just not right. The buttermilk version went uneaten at our house. Chocolate was fantastic and I'll buy this mix again, but I'm looking for other recipes on the web that resemble more of a cake donut that tastes like vanilla and less like spice.

Too sticky and sweet. Also, too much "spice" and no Buttermilk flavor. Think I'll try with recipes next time.

Very easy to use and so delicious as are all the KAF doughnut mixes I tried. Try not to over-beat the batter or the result will be a bit rubbery. Nice alternative to the death-on-a-plate fried doughnuts.

Bought to use with a doughnut maker. Worked great ! My husband and kids gobbled them up as fast as I could make them!

Pro's: high quality, easy to use mix. Fast "bowl to frosting" completion time makes it great for kids. Con's: texture was more of a light muffin. Not really buttermilk, slightlycinnamon taste limits frosting options...simple glaze, apple cider, or sour cream vanilla would be good- chocolate, not so much. Not a bad mix, just not great. Far prefer the chocolate donut mix.

King Arthur flour products are absolutely the BEST! This product is the exception. I live at 6,800 ft elevation and there were no high altitude directions. I prepared as directed (in the appropriate doughnut pan) and it was a disaster. Doughnuts would not come out of the greased pan and they did not rise, rather oozed all over the top of the pan. Guess I'll stick to making bread.

Best un-fried donut in record prep time. My children look forward to having these on Saturday mornings. :) and so do my husband and I.
