It makes a wonderful addition to any recipe that calls for butter but you want to use a low cholesterol substitute like corn oil. I've been using it regularly in scones, biscuits and muffins.

Used this in my Easter nut bread and raspberry braid and they were a hit! I got more praise than usual this year. I will definitely be using this in all of my sweet bread recipes. Thanks KAF, for a superior product!

Does anyone know if this can be used in frosting to make it taste more "buttery" or just dough to be baked? I use half butter and half shortening, but would like the full butter flavor in my frosting.
The Sweet Dough Flavor has a vanilla citrus flavor. It may be used in icings, but remember there will be a citrus undertone present in the finished frosting. Frank @ KAF.

This is one of the VERY few (if not the only) KAF product I've purchased. I am a huge fan of the company but this product is just not for me. To me, I smell and taste the citrus more than anything else, which is a turn off for me, especially when I used it in the Whole Grain Pain au Chocolat dough (and I only used 1 tsp instead of the recommended 2 tsp). I cannot stand citrus with chocolate, so I ended up throwing out the first batch of dough and starting it over using vanilla extract instead. If you are sensitive to citrus flavors, you might not want to get this flavoring.

I love this flavoring. I make sticky buns and cinnamon rolls quite often and use this product regularly. It makes both of these items taste like the 'real deal'- only much better!

Oh my good lord, this stuff is so good! I made King Arthur's Crumb Cake recipe and used this flavoring and it came out spectacular! I would definitely recommend buying this product. It makes everything taste like something out of a bakery! I love it!
