Cleo Stiren from Fernley, NV

The old mining town of Virginia City, NV has a distinctive old west appeal. It also has several candy stores well known for their candy apples. In my neighborhood, if you go there you better not come home without some additional apples. I received your kit, made my own, handed them out and had to show your invoice before they would believe me. So yes Virginia "City" there is a new apple on the block--courtesy of King Arthur.
Cleo - There are a lot of reasons why I love my job (too many to mention). Our customers come from far and wide. Very often I like to imagine what it might be like to visit the city from where they come. I guess now I will have to visit that old mining town for some candied apples! This is my first disappointing item from KA.: corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk, coconut oil, sugar, glyceryl monostearate, salt, soy lecithin, artificial vanilla flavor.

I'm so sorry to have to leave a bad review as I am an avid KA fan and have liked all my purchases to date, but this caramel is not good to me. It has a strange aftertaste that reminds me of cheap almond cookies. Sorry, but I'll be tossing this one!
