After my own homemade, this is the best caramel out there. Smooth and melts well. It makes perfect 'turtle' candies that are so easy. For baking, candy-making, and just nibbling-it is wonderful.

FANTASTIC!! I GOT 24 GOOD SIZED APPLES BEAUTIFULLY COVERED WITH GREAT CARAMEL. THANKS FOR THINKING FOR ME SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO UNWRAP 1000 OF THE OTHERS!

I used this for an office treat. Microwaved in my little dipper crockpot and then used the crock to keep it warm during the day. The caramel was delicious and covered a lot of apples. The leftover caramel is still soft, easy to cut chunks off the block and is delicious! I highly recommend if you have a lot of apples to dip--or you just love sneaking chunks like I do!

Hi, just a comment on Susan from MD's review. I'm really glad you wrote your review! I was curious what the first 4 ingredients were and you answered it. I was going to order some for my son in NM (I am from MD, too) but will not, now that I know corn syrup is first. Kraft caramels taste bad to me; like sugar, no flavor. I guess I will continue making my own caramel for apples. I love how K.A. Flour is always so cool about wanting to make their customers happy. I will always order from them because of that. I bought this caramel in previous years and it was great but they have changed the ingredients to corn syrup,artificial vanilla and it did'nt contain real butter. Even my children compained and wouldn't eat it. On a positive note, the KA customer service was excellent and they fully refunded all my money and I didn't have to mail back the product. Thank you for that.

Love this stuff It is so soft and doesn't get hard like the other guys do. It's even great just to bite into a piece.Great for apple dumplings. As those are always requested in the fall.
