At a recent dinner party, I whipped up single-serving desserts from a canister of King Arthur Flour All Natural Chocolate Lava Cake Mix. The only ingredients to add were hot water, butter and eggs, and six mini cakes baked in less than 20 minutes. The results were decadent, and the guests never suspected that dessert was made from a mix.”

- Made with King Arthur Flour, sweet chocolate, dark baker's chocolate, dark cocoa, and pure premium vanilla, all carefully blended and packed right here in Vermont.
- Ready in under 20 minutes! Just add water, butter, and eggs, bake, and enjoy!
- Bake in standard custard cups or silicone molds.
- Cakes may be refrigerated or frozen in silicone molds until ready to bake.
- Makes 6 individual 3 1/2" cakes.

TEST KITCHEN TIP: It took us a long time to develop this mix; we tested and tested and TESTED till we were able to get the “lava” inside to flow just right. The result? I just served these for dinner guests and they asked for seconds! AWESOME! I was nervous because I have never made these before but they were very easy!! They looked like they took hours to make and they taste even better than our local Roy's amazing flourless lava cake. Thank you!!!!!

We just loved the lava cake -- so easy to make and deliciously rich. Only the next day did I discover I had forgotten to add the melted butter! I am on to something here and suggest you try it!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this mix!! My 21 months old son loves it too~ of course, for him, I baked it all the way through just in case (because of egg) but for mine, I followed the instructions,, my cake (outer part) was very moist and inside, it flowed with yummy chocolate lava~!!

So wonderful and easy;better than any I have had out. Make them at the end of your meal. They are on the table before anyone knows you are missing.

Absolutely delicious BUT could not get them out of the little glass pyrex cups I used (had buttered them first). What is the secret?

Heavenly. Be sure you don't overcook or your chocolate lava won't flow. Either way, it still tastes wonderful!
