I am a big fan of KAF mixes, but this is not one I will buy again, it is way too expensive and I did not have much luck with the dough, too hard to work with, and it tasted off.

I bought this when I visited the King Arthur Store while on vacation in Vermont. The cookies are fabulous! I thought the recipe was easy - you only add a couple of ingredients, so my 4 1/2 year old son was able to help me mix the dough and the filling. The dough was easy to roll out and work with. I used a heart shaped cookie cutter instead of a round one, and they looked terrific. Now I can't wait to try the other mixes I bought!

Very good. They were very rich with butter used in filling so I would make them smaller next time. Kids did not care for them.

The cookies are too fragile if you use aall butter. I used half oleo. Also I rolled the dough into balls and flattened with a glass rather than rolling it out and usiing a cookie cutter. Made the Halloween spiders and they were a hit.

It's a little labor intensive, but these cookies are worth it! It's like a super duper Oreo.

After reviewing this mix according to my own tastes (I found them a bit too sweet), I'm now submitted the review my son would give. He and his friends love these cookies! and have eaten two batches already. They freeze well, and because the frosting is inside pack well for sporting events. I did add lime juice to the filling for extra flavor. Final word: Great cookie.

The cookies are only OK. The filling is FAR TOO sweet, and the chocolate cookie part is rather flavorless. The only positive is that the assembled cookies are attractive. For taste, buy the J Torres mixes.

I baked this cookie mix for my husband as a surprise for Valentines'. He had seen the cookie advertised in the winter catalogue , and it reminded him of his favorite cookie Oreos. He has enjoyed them thoroughly, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised of the texture as well as the taste of the chocolate. I rate this cookie mix with a plus ten!!! May God continue to bless the King Arthur family with more and more wonderful mixes.
