I like this product. I am currently in culinary school to be a pastry chef. I bought this product because I was taking chocolates and confections where tempering is HUGE in this class. I used it all semester long and it worked great got an A in the class. Cleaning however is a bit of a pain.

not as good as i thought it would be and the thermometer came away from spatula when i washed it. Not KAF usual quality.

The idea of this spatula is greater than the actual item. Didn't have the problem of it breaking but a regular spatula and a candy thermometer does better work.

The thermometer snapped in half while I was stirring chocolate. I had to throw out 2 lbs. of chocolate for fear of mercury and glass in the chocolate. Very dissapointed in this item.
