I made cream puffs with the pastry cream mix and my own chocolate topping, and the results were fabulous. This mix is so easy. You can't go wrong. I plan on purchasing more.

The balk regarding cost of this mix is astonishing. The comparison should be to the cost of purchasing ready made pastry from a quality purveyor, and 'doing the math' indicates that you save money by purchasing and using the mix rather buying fresh product. My experience with this product is that it pays for itself as stated above but also in convenience. Anyone who regularly makes pastry understands that it takes time to put together ingredients AND a light hand to process the pastry. This mix saves time and question regarding ingredients and is easy to use. The quality is superb, and I use it regularly in my kitchens. I would not waste time making choux by hand with such a superior mix on the market.

My sister and mom made cream puffs for my birthday using this mix. They said it was so easy. They filled the puffs with sweetened whipped cream and topped it with a chocolate glaze. They were so delicious!! I can't wait to make them myself.

I do not care for boxed mixes, but I do have to say this was a very easy way to make choux, and the result was good. I agree with previous comment that the price was a bit high considering the ingredients.

I used the mix tonight to make cream puffs. Delicious! I filled them with chocolate pudding and made a chocolate glaze for the top and dusted with confectioner's sugar. My husband LOVED them.

So easy, so good!! I have tried from scratch a number of times and failed a number of times... This is a magic choux mix.

What else is in Choux except flour and maybe a little salt? You can make your own for a lot less. It only takes flour, salt, eggs, water and butter. So do the math.
