Sorry, this item is currently unavailable for purchase.

If you’ve always wanted to make luxuriously rich, elegant crème brûlée, but have been scared off by the process – now’s your chance to enjoy this classic French dessert.

  • Simply combine dry mix with simmering half and half and heavy cream; pour into serving dishes; and chill till set.
  • Top with your own sugar, and run under the broiler (or easier still, use a chef’s torch) to create crème brûlée’s signature deep-gold, crackly caramelized topping.
  • Each batch of mix makes four 1/2-cup servings; two batches included in each box, for a total of 8 servings.
Hint: For chocolate crème brûlée, add 4 ounces chopped semisweet or bittersweet chocolate (about 2/3 cup) to the simmering cream, stirring until the chocolate melts.

I may be lazy, but if you use heavy cream and half & half, I can't tell the difference from the from scratch version. Yummy!

Kinda disappointing that the creme brulee kit contains SIX ramekins, but the mix is enough for FOUR servings. :( I am sorry this product did not work out for you. Please give customer service a call at 800.827.6836 and we can refund you for the mix or replace it with another mix.

Flavor was good but mixture did not set up well and was too thin.Give our Baker's Hotline a call or join them on LiveChat for some suggestions on why this may have happened. Tara@KAF

I was really surprised to see that this custard was kind of a cheater - it was unbaked. Flavor was ok, but I'll be looking for a scratch recipe for my next batch.

I was disappointed with the flavor of this creme brulee. It was kind of tasteless.
If you like a little more zip in your custard, try adding a dash of vanilla the next time. Frank @ KAF.

Wonderful! VERY quck & easy, it is fool proof - no baking required, so no overbaked or underbaked brulee. My husband LOVES this!
