An outstanding pan of excellent weight! I use it for crepes, soft scrambled eggs and more. The heat is even throughout the pan, which makes for even quick browning. Highly recommend spending the extra for this beauty!

This pan is gorgeous and makes perfect crepes. You can hang it on the wall and call it art. I found a recipe that uses the traditional buckwheat flour which perhaps King Arthur could carry.

Yesterday I received the de Buyer Mineral B crepe pan and seasoned it according to the recommendation. Today I made the best crepes yet, due in large part, to the great new pan. It's easy to use, easy to clean and there's no concern for damaging the coating as there isn't any. It's a simple combination of good, functional design and excellent quality - no cords, no magic.

I own this pan and several others by DeBuyer, the French company that manufactures them. They are superb. The more they are used, the better they become. The pans need to be seasoned and should NEVER be put in the dishwasher or allowed to soak in water. But once seasoned, they will cook anything to perfection. The pan will become blackened with use; that's good. It can be used on any cooking surface - including convection - and in the oven or under the broiler. You will not go wrong with this pan.
