It’s time you treated yourself to every baker’s best friend–the stand mixer.
- Made of sturdy, durable die-cast metal.
- Tilt-back head, for easy addition of ingredients.
- 5.5-quart bowl with easy grip handle.
- Here’s one of our favorite features: “Set it and forget it.” Kneading bread dough for 10 minutes? Just set the mixer’s timer (up to 15 minutes), walk away, and the mixer will turn itself off when the time is up.
- Here’s another great feature: an extra-slow “fold” speed, so you can mix together dry or liquid ingredients without messy “poofing” and splashing. Or gently fold whipped egg whites into cake batter.
- Stainless steel bowl is tough and durable, yet light enough not to be ungainly when filled with dough.
- Twelve speeds offer a wide range of mixing options.
- Three different power ports hold a range of Cuisinart attachments, including a juicer, food processor, pasta maker, meat grinder, and blender.
- Limited 3-year warranty.
- Includes dishwasher-safe flat beater, whisk, dough hook, and splash guard; instructions, and recipe book.

i got this mixer as a gift and I think it is very nice but I am for sure a kitchen aid girl i had a 5 qt and the pro 6 i gave my sister the 5 qt this one has nice features like the timer (up to 15 min) and the Fold feature. I do not like the fact that the bottom of the bowl is hollowed out where it turns into the mixer base and it has a lot of plastic parts. Including a thin plastic disk that the mixer bowl rests on the beaters also have plastic tops on them. It is very powerful BUT to much plastic. that is why it only gets 4 stars.

I am completely satisfied with this mixer, which replaced a Kitchenaid 4.5 qt. model. I've used it for bread, rolls, cakes, cookies and meringue, and have had outstanding results with each. I *LOVE* the shield at the top of the dough hook that prevents the dough from climbing up into the gears--it's a small feature, but a huge savings in aggravation. I've used this mixer regularly for over 6 months and have no complaints.

I own this mixer as well as a 600W KitchenAid and the Cuisinart wins. PLUS it looks great on the cabinet. It has kneaded, mixed, blended, whipped just as well as the bigger, clunkier, heavier KitchenAid with less space requirements.

I nearly bought the 5qt Kitchenaid, but after researching the Cuisinart, I decided to give it a try. I could not be happier. The 800 watt motor provides ample power for larger batches, even stiffer doughs. The non-stick, metal bread hook works well, and its shape keeps the dough from climbing the hook. I expected the mixer to walk at least a little when working a stiff dough, but it is rock steady.

Works great on cake and cookies. It is terrible for even a single loaf of whole wheat bread. I was very disappointed.
