I added the dark chocolate pearls to the center of ginger muffin & cup cake tops, they were a nice surprise.

Here's something to try: mini phyllo cups filled with chocolate or mocha mousse (piped in to look pretty, but not really necessary) topped with a single chocolate pearl and even maybe a tiny mint leaf. Simple and quick but look great on the dessert buffet.

This has been a great decorative addition to pies--and a sneaky snack for my husband. Living on the Gulf Coast, we created a tar ball martini with these in celebration of the capping of the Oil well.

I bought these on a whim, but I used them for decorating a chocolate cake. However, I thought these were just great for plain eating, too! Delish!

Excellent taste and made a beautiful addition to a white frosted cake for decoration. Everyone commented on their taste.

I don't know if I will ever find out how these work in a recipe because they are so delicious I'm eating them right out of the bag! :) They are wonderful!

Pearls were melted when they arrived. I called and in the next delivery, pearls were round and perfect. They taste delicious and even tho not uniform in size, make interesting decor on cake and cookie rim.

I just purchased these and paid the additional $14.00 for the summer shipping so they would not melt. When they arrived today they were completely melted. I don't recommend buying any chocolate in the summer unless you plan to melt it later.

i purchased these for the centers of my shortbread thumb print cookies, however they were much smaller than i had pictured and didnt work. i was still able to use them and were even good just for snacking, i just wish they were larger.
A better choice would most likle by a chocolate wafer. Guittard Bittersweet Chocolate Onyx Wafers - 16 oz.

These are neat. They made the perfect finishing touch to my cookies. If you live in a warm climate, be careful when you order them. I live in South Florida and even though it was December (a warm one), my chocolate pearls were melted some by the time they were delivered (4PM). I was able to salvage a little more the half of them by putting them in the refrigarator.
