These have no flavor or any resemblance to apples in any way. If it didn't say apples on the bag, I would not be able to identify it. I made my favorite "apple cinnamon pecan bread". You couldn't tell there were apples in it. Unfortunately, the previous version of the diced dried apples was delicious (5 stars). I do have to commend KA for standing behind their satisfaction guarantee. BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS VERSION OF DICED DRIED APPLES.

If you are an apple person, you can sprinkle it in anything you make. Useful and flavorful. I think it's a little bit on the expensive side but it's good stuff.
