This product comes with no instruction, so it takes a little "trial & error" practice. I use the rolling pin to press it into the rolled out crust. I then place it on the pie and carefully remove the cut out pieces. This only takes a few minutes and the result is a really beautiful pie.

I love it. I rolled a rolling pin over it and it cut the pattern out perfect.

Works perfectly, makes a beautiful pie. I use a roller to press it into the dough!

A good idea, not done well. The edges of the cutters are not sharp (or fine) enough. I decided to start with the easy side and made the hearts. I would have been better off using my cookie cutters. Each heart had to be outlined again with a knife or in my case a toothpick. This product will go to a garage sale or to my grandkids for play-doh use.

I was very excited about this product, but I was rather disappointed in its use. You have to push VERY hard on the top (which isn't very comfortable because of the patterns on both sides) to get it to come close to cutting out the pattern. Then I spent 15 minutes punching out every not-quite-cut-through bit (which was most of them). The pie turned out very pretty, though.
