Emile Henry Bread Cloche
The bell-shaped lid of this cloche allows you to proof and bake your round loaf without having to transfer it. The lid traps steam from the baking bread to replicate the environment of a steam-injected oven. This steam allows the bread to expand fully, it also gelatinizes the dough’s starches to create the crispy, crackly crust so characteristic of artisan breads.

Care & storage
Oven safe to 500°F, safe for use in convection and conventional ovens, broilers, gas and charcoal grills. Not intended for stovetop use.
