Better nooks and crannies than using a fork. So easy to use. I just give it a quick rinse and dry before putting it back in my silverware drawer where it's ready for the next time! Still have to insert it 4-8 times, but a fork had to be inserted more times than that and doesn't give the same texture.

This splitter is awesome. Used to have to laboriously use a fork to go around the whole muffin before it would split well. But now in 2 or maybe 3 easy insertions, I get a perfect split every time

This works well, is easy to use and is well made. I'm going to give them as gifts next holiday!

Bought these as stocking stuffers, not really sure that I thought they would work. They are perfect. My daughter-in-law called specifically to thank me for it, that it was the best kitchen gadget she now owns. Since she and my son are owners and cooks for a B&B, they go thru alot of english muffins every week - they love it.

I don't know how I got through my life before buying this tool! The muffins split so perfectly every time! If you eat English muffins, you simply have to have one.

I absolutely adore this splitter and totally agree there is a world of difference between a cut muffin and a split one...ohhh those craggy holes the warm peanut butter sinks into...sure don't get that with a sliced muffin!

This little gadget works great. I see that most of the other reviewers agree. Perhaps those folks who did not like if are not using it correctly or do not fully appreciate the difference between a split muffin and a sliced one,

Worked like a charm! No trouble splitting the muffins. Just trouble getting the right temperature on my stove top for making muffins. Maybe an electric griddle will be in my future.

My husband loves this! I no longer hear him complaining of English muffins that end up in four pieces. If this eventually breaks, I'll be buying a replacement. It works!
