Espresso powder is a must-have ingredient if you bake with chocolate. Here’s why:
- Use 1/2 to 2 teaspoons in chocolate baked goods, frostings, and sauces for terrific extra chocolate-y flavor.
- Use 2 teaspoons or more to create mocha flavor.
- Or use on its own to add clean, strong coffee flavor to frostings, bars, cakes, & cookies.

It's great and adds a lot of flavor to recipes. However...it is pretty expensive and shipping is too expensive for what it is. I'll have to think twice before ordering again. I was charged shipping on an order which said it would be shipped free. Please call our Customer Service team 1-800-827-6836 so they can check out why there was a shipping charge and make it right for you. Tara@KAF

I use espresso powder to make my own mocha mix, for baking and it makes great coffee ice cream.

Excellent flavor and ease of use. Highly recommended for highlighting the chocolate flavor in brownies and adding coffee flavor to any dessert.

The powder really brings out the chocolate in your chocolate cakes, brownies etc. Especially with good cocoa powder and is just amazing in tiramisu. Will definitely use again.

I love the powder--it is dark and rich flavored. I gave it only 4 stars because mine seems to harden and become solid after so much time. Any suggestions how to store it. I put a food-safe silicone package in it to see if that would help if it was moisture but it didn't help so maybe it is the reverse that it needs something to keep it from drying out. Otherwise I love the stuff and use it.

Always keep this on hand! Great for cookies, shakes, etc. Many uses in the kitchen.
