This is an expensive item for convenience sake. Now that I've tried it, I hope to never have to abrade and then toss a lemon for the couple pinches of zest for a salad or soup or or green beans or toast with marmalade or the many, many foods that can be brightened with a pinch of zest. This is, for me, a no brain needed expense.

I cannot keep enough of this in my pantry. It is better than fresh - and I don't have to scrape my knuckles to make it. It holds up to cooking or baking and the flavor is superb.
