It's my own fault for not checking the ingredients first, but this item contains wheat. So I wasn't able to use them. Why wheat? In fruit? My friend was able to use them and loved and thought they were fabulous. I've been searching for this item for months, so when I saw it here, I got so excited I failed to read the ingredients. They sure did look good though.

This was perfect for my lebkuchen cookies for Christmas. The fruit wasn't too sticky and sweet like what you find in the grocery store. No weird aftertaste either.

I've used this for a number of years now, for Stollen, Lebkuchen, Panettone, and hot cross buns. Absolutely the best - not overly sweet or dyed. Everyone I've shared baked goods with have commented how good the mixed peel is.

The citron pieces on the top when first opening had a chemical (don't know how to describe it) bad taste. The orange pieces were very very mild could hardly taste the orange. Maybe this was a handling problem during shipping? Would look for another source before resorting to this again. For the price I expected better. I am sorry this did not work out for you. If you give customer service a call at 800.827.6836, we would be happy to refund or exchange for another item.

Sweet and tart and absolutely YUMMY! I added it to gingerbread drop cookies and have topped a pumpkin bagel with cream cheese. I must admit, I also had to order more because I don't have enough for the fruitcake cookies I bought it for. Wonderfully tasty!

Wonderful product - moist, tasty, and makes an excellent addition to my Christmas bread. Much better than what can be purchased in the stores.
