Purchased this because of the measuring cup to sift into and because of the krank handle similar to the old-fashioned metal sifters. Only one complaint. I wish it had a handle for holding it like the old sifters; I have difficulty holding and stabilizing the sifter when I'm sifting through the mesh screen. A handle would be very helpful and would rate this sifter 5 stars.

Great idea, but when flour is sifted in it mounds, so the measuring feature isn't useful. Tapping or shaking to even the top of the flour causes the flour to settle, defeating the purpose of measuring in its sifted form. For all that, I find this takes more effort to actually sift than my old crank sifter.

I like this sifter because it sifts into its own bowl, shows you how many cups of sifted flour, etc. you've done, and it goes in the dishwasher. The only thing that could be better is to have a place for the sifting screen to screw on when stored.

i haven't had my sifter a year and the screen came out of it. i wouldn't recommend this item.
