After I got the hang of the feet position, I made veggies for pickling and potato chips, among other items. Excellent tool.

I had been holding off getting a mandoline due to the prices I had seen. Then I saw this one and wanted to give it a try since I have had nothing but the best experiences with KAF. A couple of the blades on the first mandoline I recieved ended up breaking off. I immediately contacted customer service and within days had a new mandoline! This one is perfect and so easy to use. Both of my girls (9 & 12) love helping with dinner when I am using the mandoline. It was definitely worth the wait!

Not the easiest thing to unfold the first time. "Joints" are very stiff. As is the knob to adjust the thickness. But finally did it with only a couple of cuts to the hand. No stitches required.

I am a long time fan of KAF and always return when looking for items. However; this time I have been very disappointed. I have a cheaper mandoline that actually slices more styles but wanted this one for it's ability to cut fries. Every time I try to cut fries that setting collapses and won't work. It's also difficult to fold but I could deal with that. The fact that it's not strong enough for sweet potatoes for cutting fries is a BIG disappointment.
We hate to disappoint. If you are not pleased with products, you can return for replacement or refund. Contact us at 800-827-6836 and one of our customer service reps will help facilitate that process. Irene @ KAF

This one is a gift, I have one for myself. Other than it is hard to fold I love it!

This is the best! I got it as a gift and was sure it couldn't replace my rather expensive and cumbersome model. I was wrong. Once I figured out how to open it (that was a bit confusing), I found that it was a breeze to use. Unfolding and folding it becomes easier with use. I use it almost every day (paper thin onions on my salad... YUM!).

The blade is very sharp! It makes slicing an easy task. The problem I have with it is that "#1" (the thinnest slice) is not working... so I can't not get the paper thin affect. I can only use #2 (slightly thicker) and up. I wonder if anyone else has the same problem. I'm a little disappointed. Other than that, it works well. The folding design is nice. If the itme is defective, please call us. We are happy to assist you 800-827-6836. Frank @ KAF.

Had been using a cheap mandoline for years, and really wanted a good one, but considering I am not a professional chef, I couldn't justify spending several hundred $$ for one. I decided to give this a try, and it works great! Slices paper thin to thick effortlessly, easy clean up. The only feature I don't like is the mechanism to fold in half is a little hard to manipulate. I just keep mine unfolded.
