I've tried these on two or three separate occasions and did not like them at all. I admit I did not try them on royal icing--I attempted to use them on cake balls and cake pops (ie on a candy melt shell) and directly on a sugar cookie. It did not work for more than a second or two before the tip had enough debris on it that it would no longer write. When it did write the line was so thin it did not make for a very bold appearance, something like a mechanical pencil rather than a marker. I did however find a similar product called "gourmet writer" (recommended by the authors of the cake pop books) which was far superior, consistently wrote and made a more notable mark.

Works well on Royal Icing Sugar Cookies. The colors are intense, so it looks very professional!

I used them to decorate plain (un-iced) sugar cookies. They worked fine the first day, but by the second day the markers seemed to be drying out, and I wasn't getting much color from them. I only decorated about a dozen cookies!
Sorry this didn't work out. Please call us at 800-827-6836 for a refund.

Big hit as a Christmas stocking stuffer.

Like using markers for drawing on paper? If you do, these markers are for you (especially if you have kids). Easy to use. Remember that the icing has to be set up and hardened or you won't get the result you want.

I made your recipe for light spice holiday cookies and frosted with the simple cookie glaze - then put my 2 Grandkids (5 & 6) in charge of decorating them. The markers were easy for them to use so they had fun and the cookies were beautiful.

We used these to decorate Christmas cookies and my kids thought they were the greatest. They asked that next time we do cut out cookies that I frost them ahead of time with royal icing so we can just decorate them with the markers. The colors are good and they were easy to use.

My grandchildren (six and five) had the BEST time decorating your butter and gingerbread cookies with these markers! I frosted the cookies the night before with your royal icing recipe. It set up perfectly and were ready for one of a kind art when the children arrived. These markers were perfect for young artists! I highly, highly recommend.

You must ice the cookies first with white icing or the designs don't show and children get frustrated with them.

My 4 year old grandson had lots of fun drawing on cookie frosting. These markers are easy to handle for little ones and the color is good. A good buy.
