I make gluten free flour by mixing the brown rice flour and rice flour with the potato starch and tapioca starch and get good results. Am grateful for being able to obtain gluten free ingredients from King Arthur and find the receipes very helpful.

This is a good flour, but I disagree with the others on smoothness. It is still not fine enough for GF pie crusts and breads. But that being said, it is fine for cookies, brownies, etc, and if you catch a free shipping promotion, it becomes a decent buy. I just wish KAF would develoop a superfine brown rice flour as well!

This is a great flour- silkier than my usual superfine brand, plus able to stay out in the canister. The baked goods had fine texture with good grain taste. We used the usual whole-grain flour techniques so there was no grittiness. I love that I can keep my basic flour mix on the counter like my other supplies!!! Thanks for stabilizing this for better shelf life & countertop stability! Lower cost would be nice but I understand why it's the price it is. It's consistent with not just GF but general small batch pricing. The best way to improve that is for so many folks to get it that production increases lead to lower per-batch prices.

This is a beautifully soft and silky flour. I've been buying another brand because it's locally available. However--this is a supeior product. I think I'll use this for cakes or other gluten free items that need a better texture.

I just tried this flour over the weekend!! It is great. It has a very smooth texture and has virtually no gritty mouth-feel. I am using it in all of my gluten-free cookie recipes from now on.
