Exceptional dark chocolate for a good price. I eat 10 pieces every day as an addition on my vegetarian diet. Much more sensibly priced and portioned than a dark chocolate "bar".

I was looking for a good quality chocolate chip that is low in sugar and carbs and this is it.

I make assorted styles of dark chocolates. I will blend a variety of dark chocolate strengths including the Guittard Bittersweet Onyx Wafers. I end up with a decadent creamy chocolate flavor in my candy styles. Whether it's dark chocolate suckers, peanut clusters, or nut barks, I can count on Guittard Bittersweet Chocolate Onyx Wafers every time!

Incredible! Tried them in your recipe for Chocolate Decadance Minis. A young friend described the minis as "gummy gooey goodness," and even my teenage son was satisfied with one.

I love this chocolate. I bought it on a whim, and I'm not disappointed that I did. I chopped it up to make ganache, and it was great. Yum!

There has been a negative comment about these Guittard Bittersweet Onyx Wafers not making good peanut clusters. I blend these wafers with a variety of other chocolate strengths to make Dark chocolatw Peanut Clusters. I set a small mixing bowl over a pan of gently simmering water to temper my dark chocolate blend. Once all melted, I remove bowl from pan, set on terry towel & stir in more onyx wafers to cool my dark chocolate mixture down. Add in lots of dry roasted lightly salted peanuts. Place mini paper baking cups in midget cupcake pans. And spoon the peanut chocolate mixture into each paper baking cup. Place in refrigerator for 2-3 hours to harden. My dark chocolate peanut cluster literally melts in your mouth when eaten. The Guittard wafers add that nice bittersweet touch to the dark chocolate blend! I also use it in a dark chocolate blend for making thin Almond Bark. And for drizzling over thin white Chocolate hazelnut Bark. My Peanut Clusters get rapidly devoured at home! I made more than a dozen on 3/23/11. I now need to make more of them 3/27/11! I feel this chocolate wafer works better in a blend of dark chocolates rather than by itself for making candy.
