Home today and suffering with an eye virus which made wearing contacts unthinkable. Couldn't quite focus on the instructions and added an extra egg by mistake. Despite this blunder, these, my first effort at biscotti, mix or otherwise, turned out superbly. We are usually dark chocolate folks and my 16 yo son actually preferred these to the choc/choc chip batch I made at the same time (with the correct number of eggs). An added attraction - the aroma of these in the oven is divine. Wonderful to come home to.
