Hot fudge sauce is just a minute away...
If you're like me, your culinary journeys are always half pleasure, half guilt. Gee, I'd love a hot fudge sundae... but the calories! The fat! I compromise with a TINY hot fudge sundae, which means I need a TEENY bit of hot fudge, which means I reach for our Dark & Decadent Hot Fudge Sauce Mix.
- A dry mixture, just add milk (or cream!) (or water).
- Microwave, or simmer briefly on stovetop.
- The result? Whatever-amount-I-want of thick, gooey-chewy fudge sauce.
- 16-ounce bag.

It is so easy and quick to make in the microwave and you can make just a little for that tiny indulgence that you need every once in a while. My family really likes the dark chocolate flavor and when you make it with just a little real melted butter it is fabulous.

Dark, thick, delicious--make three servings for two for a special treat over ice cream or chocolate zucchini cake from the deep freeze. Yum++

Sorry to say, but this is a disappointment. It has an artificial flavor, and the consistency is not acceptable. They need to reformulate this one.

My family and I are huge dark chocolate fans and most chocolate sauces or syrups tend to be semi-sweet or milk chocolate. I agree with one reviewer, this sauce mix tends to be much more dark chocolatey and that's a great thing for us. Super easy to make but tastes like I stood over a double boiler for an hour.

This wasn't quite sweet enough for my taste as far as hot fudge goes. I would say it leans too heavily on the "dark" end of the chocolate spectrum. If I make it again, I'll probably add sugar. I don't have a microwave, but stovetop prep was simple, and the flavor was very "clean," as in simple and fresh. I just prefer something a little sweeter over ice cream. I'd give this 3 stars for my own taste, but I'll grant that others may like it better than I, so I'll add a star.
