I've had this for about 6 months, and just gave the slightly larger size to my daughter. This is a great little appliance, and I have zero complaints. Well - OK, you may as well plan on buying an extra freezer bowl -- it really must be deep frozen a full 24 hours per use, and when you're feeling inspired by whatever you just made, that seems like forever. (Persian Melon sorbet -- yeah, seriously the best thing you've ever eaten.) Also take their advice and super-pre-chill ingredients as much as possible, for a firmer, faster sorbet/ice cream. I stick the mix in my freezer for about 30-45 minutes. But! 1 -2 tsp vodka (no more) or liqueur in the mixture helps keep the ice cream/ sorbet from getting rock hard in the freezer -- yeah, like it ever lasts that long.

Hightly recommended and simple to use. I bought this for my 12 year old daughter who loves ice cream. If my 12 year old can make wonderful tasting ice cream with this ice cream maker, then anyone can! The recipes are tasty and easy to make. I added some of KAF esspresso powder to the chocolate ice cream and it was better than any I've had! You will love it!

This is a great addition, we make what we want when we want. I have not had any problems and the ice cream is excellent and done in about 10 minutes.

This is so easy to use! I especially like being able to make fat-free sorbets that have great flavor. I only have one freezer bowl, so as soon as the recipe is done it goes into a plastic container in the treezer. The bowl goes back in the freezer and is ready whenever I want to make more.

I love this new ice cream maker! It is so easy to use and less messy than the older-style ice cream makers that used ice and salt. It will require some advance planning as you will need to freeze the unit's bowl for 24 hours before you make the ice cream. The liquid within the walls of the bowl needs to freeze solid. And you will need to pre-mix and chill your ingredients about an hour or two before you make it. But once you turn it on and pour in your ingredients, you will have a finished product in about 15 minutes. I have used it twice already using the recipes from the enclosed recipe booklet, and both times the ice cream turned out great with a thick, smooth and creamy texture. I used the KAF Double-Dutch Dark Cocoa in the chocolate recipe. The recipe called for sifted cocoa, but I wasn't sure if I should sift before or after measuring. I sifted after measuring, and the result was a deep dark chocolate ice cream that was to die for! Put it in a waffle cone, and chocolate lovers will be in heaven! Ben & Jerry, eat your heart out!

Every weekend when my grandaughter visits we make a new flavor. Memories in the making!

I bought a slightly older version of the same model. And this thing is EXCELLENT. Mine came with a small recipe booklet that we use (includes all sorts of ice creams, yogurts, and Italian ices). I love that I don't have to use salt to prepare anything--we just keep it in our freezer and whip up fresh ice creams and ices in 30 minutes or so. All the recipes can be reduced in fat and calories (we substitute lowfat and fat free creams all the time, and use agave or other nutritious sweeteners instead of sugar). They all work!! I bought one for my sister, it's that good. And best of all, WE control what goes into it, so it's chemical free, preservative free, and all-natural. Love it!!!
