I love love love this but my freezer makes whatever I make in it into a block of ice which I then have to break up in the blender to make scoopable.

I just purchased my ice cream maker about a month ago, I have used it several times and I am extremely pleased. I don't find it to be too noisy. I and my family love this machine and I would recommend it to anyone. My daughter and son in law are planning to purchase one.

Machine extremely noisy. I had to shut it in the pantry. Ice cream good, but not quite as smooth as from my old manual-crank Donvier.

My ten year old granddaughter has already made two batches... easy and delicious!

You are not going to believe this!!!! I just bought this machine(in white) at a garage sale for $5.00 and it came with an extra bowl! I already made ice cream and it turned out yummy! It is a little noisey but it makes great ice cream. I will be making frozen yogurt next as I just purchased a yogurt maker from KAF.

I wish it held more volume, as we seem to consume most of it before the guests arrive. Someone asked about recipes. The best I ever made was strawberry-champaigne ice. The secret is 1/2 c heavy cream and 1/2c nearly frozen champaigne, to 3/4c overripe strawberries. (add more cream as you go.) The other sure winner is ripe Georgia peaches, and thus we wait...

As Bee said, it is goof-proof! I've used this for years & it makes the best ice cream. I paid $100 here in Canada-new 5 years ago. This price on KAF is awesome so take advantage!! Highly recommended! Susan in Calgary

I bought this ice creammaker several years ago; I love it, and I purchased an extra freezer bowl so I wouldn't have to wait for it to refreeze before making more icecream.

I had this ice cream maker, recently sold it & now I regret it. I made ice cream with my grandkids and we had so much fun with it! I had two of the freezer bowls which turned out to be really nice. I would recommend they always sell it that way since 24 hr freezing time is needed prior to making ice cream. My favorite was a coconut lime sorbet. So cool & refreshing on a hot day!

I finally had to replace my 20 year old Waring Ice Cream Parlor ice cream machine. I resarched new machines for days and finally decided on THIS version. Extremely easy and goof-proof; we make 1/2 the volume capacity so we can make more ice cream flavours. MY machine is silent! I don't know where all this chatter comes from about how "noisy they are". HIGHLY recommend to anyone; just be sure to freeze the container a good 24 hours BEFORE using for the 1st time!!! The book recommends as little as 6-12 hours; they are wrong! I almost returned this when the ice cream wouldn't freeze the 1st time; refroze the container for a day and it worked perfectly.
