Great value. Works well, and I've discovered I was overbaking. Has made a great difference in the outcome of my bread, and reduced the amount of energy I use.

Now I can tell for sure if my bread is done. Having the button that holds the temp until you read it is a choice feature. I checked with another and by the time I pulled it out of the bread and read it, it was 15 degrees cooler. This is a great item, and does not seem like such a luxury now. I don't have underdone loaves or buns.

call me stupid! but it does not say; "do not leave in oven "on it as far as I can see. I had a totally Salvador Dali surrealist experience with this new newfangled object!! that was 17 dollars out the window !!!

Have only used this once and for making yogurt, not for meat. It's great - fast and snappy and easy to read. Very happy with this little guy.

i have used this thermometer for about 2 months--the battery is dead and it is impossible to open the battery case. (I am going to try drilling the edge of the closure to see if that works) At the price, this should not have happened
Please before you drill call our customer service to help you with this problem. JMD@KAF

This has always worked well for me. I would buy the $95 thermometer if I could afford it.

I got this thermometer a couple of months ago but was in the process of moving and wasn't able to use it. Went to use it yesterday and it wouldn't work. Tried changing the battery, still wouldn't work.

I received this thermometer about 6 months ago and have used it extensively for baking yeast bread (approx. 50 loaves so far). No problem whatsoever. It has worked wonderfully. It is true there are no instructions, but I have just used google to find the temperature ranges I need. It is essential for baking bread.

No complaints! This thermometer has been working fine for me for months, and it's hard to argue with the price. I did lots of research before this purchase, and virtually every thermometer I read about (including the $90 Thermapen) was full of reviews that said "worked great, then broke" so... I wouldn't be too swayed by the people who had problems with this device. KAF stands behind what they sell. :)

This thermometer works great and is reasonably priced. Thanks, KAF.
