The first one arrived with broken plastic. King Arthur web support was very easy to contact and shipped a replacement at no charge to me. The temperature knob on the first unit was also not aligned correctly, making it difficult to tell what it was set at it. The second unit arrived intact with a correctly aligned temperature knob. The griddle is a little too wide to fit in my 24" drawer, due to some unnecessary width of the plastic on the ends. As far as performance I've only used it a few times and it seems to work well enough. It heats up quickly, and relatively evenly. Overall this item doesn't meet the level of quality I expect for items carried by KAF. A little superglue and a screwdriver will fix the first damaged unit, so I got 2 for the price of 1. It works well enough for my needs, so I won't be returning it.

This is the cheapest quality griddle I have ever seen. Unforunately I had to keep it cause I n eeded to use it and was not able to return. DO NOT WASTE your money !!! It is almost all plastic and too large to store in a normal deep cabinet. Bad purchase on my part.
